Collegiate Ambassador Program

The Black Girls Vote Collegiate Program inspires student leaders as they engage their student body by providing peer-to-peer education on the electoral process, and bringing BGV’s mission, vision, and values to their campus. Through an assortment of campus outreach events, our Collegiate members receive opportunities to refine public speaking and interpersonal skills, while leading projects in areas that impact their community. We know our vote is our voice and we encourage black women to use our collective voice to support policies that benefit our communities and families.

Overall, BGV Collegiate Chapters register and train Black women to vote, inform the community on why it is important to engage in the electoral process, and educate their members and the public on candidates and policies.

Currently, Black Girls Vote has a presence across 5 campuses, and below are a few of the events they have hosted on their campuses to engage, educate and empower Black young women on the importance of advocacy and voting.

    • Morgan State University
